Gone to Maui

Kihei, Wailea and Makena from the air as we circled in preparation for landing

It's been a long time - several weeks - since I have written a post. The month of March was very demanding and full of anxiety and stress ... as well as good things. Mark had three rounds of his Provenge treatment and had some temporary but painful side effects. We had out of town family guests for two weeks, there was lots of family drama (mine), and then we spent several wonderful days just prior to leaving for Maui with my daughter Hannah and her daughter Hazel, who were visiting from Canada.

We were ready to go to Maui.

And here we are.

It was a beautiful morning in San Francisco as we passed through

Almost there!

It was a bit overcast Monday afternoon and a little on the cool side

When we went back to the car at the end of the afternoon, this rainbow on the slopes of Haleakala greeted us.
